Hajrudin Hodžić

Hajrudin Hodžić was born on 10/31/1977 in Tuzla. He finished elementary school in 1992 in Stupari, Kladanj municipality. He graduated from Bedruddin al-Haseni high school of sharia and arabian in 1999 in Damascus (Syria). In the meantime, in 1997, he remarkably succeeded in completing his matriculation in Damascus (Syria), majoring in literature, on the basis of which he enrolled in 1997 at the Faculty of Islamic Law at the University of Damascus, graduating in 2002. In the same year, he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the El-Feth el-Islami Institute in Damascus, a branch of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, which he completed at the end of 2003.
In october 2009, at the University of Novi Pazar, he defended his master's thesis on: The causes of legal differences in Islam and their reflections, with reference to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In late november 2014, he completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, defending his doctoral dissertation entitled Arabia religious-legal terminology in islam.
Since 2004, he has been employed as an assistant professor at the Islamic Faculty of Pedagogy in Bihać in Arabian language, and for many years has been an assistant in the subjects of Kiraet and Sira - Mohammed's life, s.a.v.s. He is currently the vice-dean for the research work of the IPF in Bihać.

He was for many years the editor of the weekly radio show 'World of Islam' on USK Radio. He is a certified halal quality auditor at the islamic community's halal quality certification Agency in BiH, as well as a quality assurance coordinator at the Islamic Faculty of Pedagogy in Bihać, and a permanent court interpreter for arabian language at the Cantonal court in Bihać.
He has been an active member of the Life Association (www.zivot.ba) since its inception, and since 2014 the president of the association of the same name. He is a member of the Council of Coordination of Bosniak NGOs and also Coordinator of the BiH Mufti's NGO Section.
He received a letter of thanks from the Islamic Faculty of Pedagogy and Radio Una-sana canton in 2008, as well as recognition from the University of Bihać for his distinguished contribution to the field of science of particular importance for the development of the University of Bihać, december 10/2009.
He is a member of the editorial board of the Proceedings of the I-VII Islamic Faculty of Pedagogy in Bihać, and since 2016 he is the editor-in-chief. He has attended numerous seminars in arabian language and quality assurance. He is the author of one book and several scientific papers. He has translated three works independently from arabian language, and has participated in the translation of more than ten titles. He is also married to a father of three children.
